Heroes get remembered, but legends never die.
Follow your heart kid, and you'll never go wrong. |

Been a long time since I updated.. so long that my clothes are goin out of style.
When we left off last time, Ddrak was singing us a nice little Christmas carol, and we had just broken into T2 of Ruins of Kunark progression. What a ride it was..
First thing on our agenda was the group epic rewards which were added a few live updates ago. Overall some nice stuff, and the mythicals we are working toward are even nicer. Something that would get us remembered.. FOR-EV-ER.
THE CREW
Most people were too lazy to send a pic, so these people get featured. I forgive them tho, because we bleed together in these T2 encounters, which were no joke!
First up was the temple of Kor-Sha, where the Overking wanted to play a little ball with us.
His minions went down like a sack of potatoes, but he wasn't quite so easy.
Our first encounter left us a little dazed..
But after a little pep talk, we had our eye on the prize..
We had a date at the pool with a certain someone!
And with the Overking dispatched, THE BEAST stood in our path.
Although he doesn't quite look like that, Venril Sathir is our personal BANE. This encounter requires coordination unlike any other we have come across so far.
A familiar sight on this encounter, power bars watched, detrimental spell effects front and center. Just a few of the things I'd like to forget..
We tried to use comedy, grit, frustration to aid us in our journey, but nothing really seemed to help.
We got him down this far quite a few times, but only a few resulted in him actually dying.
What a relief this picture is, the weight of a cockblock being lifted off.
Well, if you had just beaten Venril, you'd have a grin like that on your face too! Venril was sad to see us go, but we were not sad to see him die!
With T2 behind us, we moved on to confront The Leviathan in the Chamber of Destiny. This beast proved quite elusive..
Wait.. wrong picture..
The Leviathan is certainly one of the most creative encounters in the game, and I'd say one of the most fun. Unlike Venril Sathir's ridiculous script, this one is actually entertaining.
With the spice on our side, we took this encounter on head first..
But that didn't work out so well, you see, part of the encounter involves being swallowed inside the belly of the beast and setting off explosives from the inside.
Taking Fat Bastard's advice, bellyaches were incoming.
The result was a giant rotting carcass, and our key to Veeshan's Peak.
As well as the moment we had all been waiting for..
POOL PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now all that lies before us and our mythical weapons is a lot of hard work. Taking inspiration from the Babe..
We had to do a little training, ala ROCKY, to get ready!
I will fear no evil, for fear is the mind killer..
We leveled the guild up, did a little farming in PR and elsewhere..
Finally, the challenge was set before us..
Veeshan's Peak, home to the Ring of Scale.
Will we be able to hit one out of the park? or will we play ball like girls?
It's not so bad so far, but the worst is yet to come..
Great job everyone, let's make the next update MYTHICAL in proportions. |
